The focus of this workshop is to allow South Asian parents and caregivers of a child with autism to explore the impact of the diagnosis on family relationships. Core themes of this workshop may include exploring cultural shame and stigma, evolving interpersonal relationships, and societal perceptions of gender-related caregiver roles.
